During military training and daily duty of the armed police, unexploded ordnance is often encountered, including grenades, mines, mortar shells, gun grenades, etc., which often requires quick emergency disposal, otherwise it will seriously affect the personal and property safety of soldiers or people. Our team has developed the portable intelligent laser damage system to meet the requirement of long distance focusing and high energy laser rapid damage on unexplosive ordance. The high energy laser damage system is composed of emission head, air cooled laser, lithium battery, tablet computer, tripod and so on. It can be carried by two people and is easy to transport, quick to deploy, safe and efficient.
The basic working principle is that the emission head is aimed at unexploded ordnance from a distance and the high-energy laser produced by the far-field focused air-cooled laser forms a high-energy laser spot to continuously damage on the ordnance and finally detonate the ordnance or completely ablate the ordnance, thus achieving efficient and safe destruction of the ordnance.
The product has the following main functions:
1) Ranging and aiming functions;
2) Function of far-field high-energy laser focusing;
3) Able to remotely control the system, laser emit, laser off, video recording, etc., and provide a unified display interface to monitor the working status of each part of the system;
4) Able to display the laser power and remaining electricity;
5) Video storage and playback of the laser damage process;
6) Easy to deliver, assemble, disassemble and use.
The hardware composition of the system includes three main parts: the main load box with the air-cooled laser, the lithium battery box, and the tripod support of the turntable, as shown in the following figure.
(1)The main load box
The main load box is integrated with an air-cooled fiber laser, a laser emission device, a tablet computer, a handheld rangefinder, and a voltage conversion and communication module. Among them, the air-cooled fiber laser is responsible for providing high energy laser, and adopts the fiber structure technology to achieve module miniaturization and high beam quality. The laser emission device is responsible for the laser emission control, and contains the emission light path, camera, alarm and communication module; Tablet computer is the entire system interactive information terminal, which able to control the entire system through WIFI connection. The self-developed software able to achieve the laser control, different distance focus, damage position adjustment, camera imaging, system information display and other functions.
(2)The lithium battery box
The system uses polymer lithium battery as a power supply battery, which has the characteristics of high energy density, miniaturization, lightweight and high safety. The battery able to supply power for the whole system, supporting the system to work at full power for more than 70 minutes.
(3)The tripod support
To provide support for the laser emission device, the electric adjustable tripod support turntable is used to achieve fine adjustment of the pointing.
